Surgery User Interface for Tracking and Efficiency
dbITpro developed the Veterans Health Information Systems Technology Architecture (VistA) surgery patch 191
using MUMPS code for The National Surgery Office (NSO). The code modfifcations enhanced real-time
operating room (OR) schedule for planning, scheduling, and day of surgery needs coordination. This patch also
added improvements for the entry of biologic and non-biologic implant information and for the collection of
clinical outcomes data for all surgical cases.
We also developed the pilot application interface for the VistA Surgery package called Surgery User Interface
for Tracking and Efficiency (SUITE) application using javascript, nosql and RESTful web services.
